Our History

Small Beginnings...

  • Founded in 1968 by Robert DeVolld, the founding minister.  The congregation met at the home of Robert and Sheila DeVolld.
  • 1971 the first building located on McKinley St. is built.
  • 1983 Second building, now known as the Chapel was constructed.
  • 1998 Leslie Daniel takes on the role of Women's Ministry Director.
  • 1999 the Family Life Center is completed with 14 classrooms and multi-purpose room totaling 20,000 sq. ft. combined.
  • 2005 Adam Meyers is hired as the youth minister after serving as a volunteer for two years.
  • 2017 Robert retires from full-time ministry and Adam steps into the adult ministry role.
  • 2018 Caleb Beck is hired as the youth minister.
  • 2020 the congregation launches it's new Vision-Mission-Values.
  • 2022 the congregation launches it's 3-Year Strategic Plan: 
    • Ignite Relationships: New, Deep, Next-Gen
